Bollard (posts)
A bollard (post) is an effective solution for blocking unwanted traffic and protecting buildings and urban spaces. NordicOutoorDesign offers a wide range of bollards and post options, including stationary bollards, tilt bollards (retractable), and removable bollards, as well as various materials such as galvanised steel, corten steel, cast aluminum, pressure-treated pine, larch, flexible rubber and recycled plastic. The common feature of these bollards is that they are made of robust materials that withstand wind and weather and have a long durability.

Bollards (posts)
Bollards and posts are an alternative to barriers in places where there is a need for traffic regulation and closure. In urban areas, bollards are an effective solution for blocking unwanted traffic, protecting buildings, and securing sensitive areas against terrorism. One or more bollards can, for example, be placed at the entrance to pedestrian streets, open squares, parking lots, public buildings, ports/airports, driveways and shopping centers. In addition to their functional element, bollards can also serve as a design component for a tasteful urban-, street- or area decoration. In nature, bollards and wooden fences are a stylish way to limit and mark the surroundings.
The bollards of NordicOutdoorDesign are produced according to the traditions of Danish craftsmanship using durable materials such as steel, cast aluminum, wood and rubber. Our models in recycled plastic are a quality product imported from Germany.

Removable or fixed bollard
NordicOutdoorDesign offers a wide range of bollards in different designs and materials that suit the needs and taste - and especially the interaction with other elements in the environment.
You can choose between stationary bollards, which are either embedded or bolted with a base plate. You can also choose removable bollards, which have the advantage of being easily disassembled when access is needed. Removable bollards are supplied either with a padlock, a cylinder lock or with a threaded rod and triangle key, allowing passage in a restricted area. In addition, the top part of the bollard, on certain models, can be replaced in case of collision and breakage.
Choose between bollards in different dimensions and materials such as galvanised steel, pressure-treated pine, larch wood, recycled plastic, and flexible rubber that bends upon impact. The robust materials withstand wind and weather and have a long durability.
Bollards can be equipped with different types of reflectors in white, yellow, or red in the form of self-adhesive reflective film or steel reflector plates for nailing.
Bollard or chain post
If you want a more clearly defined closure, a bollard with chains - also called a chain post - is recommended. Our solid chain post consists of two bollards in hot-dip galvanised steel for embedding. The bollard has an eye and a galvanised chain for closure. The hook can be locked to the bollard with a padlock. Chain posts are a good solution in areas where flexible traffic regulation is needed, for example, at schools and supermarkets, as removing the chain allows for the traffic to go through.
